Oh hi, didn’t see you there.

Yeah this ol’ girl’s been in the works for a bit. Then it got scrapped and now we’re here with wordpress.

I had a site going that was more ease-of-use friendly and what not but decided to ultimately scrap it and just use wordpress.

I suppose one of the advantages with wordpress is if I ever decide to move to some dedicated hosting service it’ll more likely than not support the format. So it’s easy to move.

The theme? Not me unfortunately, was too burnt out and too ignorant to be bothered. It’s called Cormorant and while it looks simple relies on the plugin Gutenberg. I don’t really care about the plugin I just wanted the theme.

I always enjoy the look of just simple more html-y sites. I don’t like moving pictures of cluttered spaces. From a google pixel landing page to you’re favorite sketchy website it’s all ugly. I just prefer this.

And I suppose that’s another nice thing about wordpress. The themes just grab data from a database so if I ever got around to it I can make my own theme. Or edit existing ones; not like they’re encrypted or anything.

For now this theme will do. I made some adjustments that I can’t remember. Mostly just removing things and changing colors. Feels a bit more like home. Only other thing I might do is add links to get back to the upload page and the old sites at the top. For now this will work.

Anyway that’s all for now. Just wanted to let you know what’s going on, you got comments and what not just lemme know however you want. This thing doesn’t require emails or even names and it’s something I’ll probably look into so the only optional fields are the name you want and the comment you’ll post.
